
About the Author
D. Rudd Wise, was born in Dallas, Texas, a fifth generation Texan. He was raised in the oil fields and cattle country from Crane to Odessa to Forsan. He spent most of his adult life in the military, retiring from the Air Force in 1994. Since then, he obtained his private pilot's license, dove on Spanish galleons off the coast of Florida, finished his first novel Operation: Eyewitness and its sequel, Amarillo Mariposa. He is currently working on a third story in the sequel, The Shallow’s Deep Secrets.
David and his wife, Rachel, are professional treasure hunters, residing in Indiana. They co-authored a children’s book, The Three Little Orphan Kittens, illustrated by Deana Gottschalk.
